Ludovica Serafini & Roberto Palomba
Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba are exclusive designers of the 2022 Versace Home collection, which features more than 100 pieces created in collaboration with Donatella Versace and Luxury Living. Presented during the Salone del Mobile at the Museo della Permanente, luxurious pieces of relaxed alfresco seating, futurist vinyl sofas and scarlet red chairs took the stage in an immersive space that brought together design, fashion and art. Palomba recalls the first project they worked on together. “We got a call from a company that made an appointment the same day. While Ludovica was driving, I drew watercolour sketches on the car’s dashboard, drying the sheets out the window. The project was approved.” Serafini says ever since then, every project has been an “evolutionary leap” in their design journey. “Today we have 25 people working with us. What distinguishes us is the curiosity we have, as [renowned Italian designer] Achille Castiglioni used to say, this is a job for the curious.”
