A casual encounter while travelling in Mexico, which evolved into a shared journey and a shared work trajectory is how Studiopepe was born, in 2006. Founded by Arianna Lelli Mami and Chiara Di Pinto, the talented team describe their bond as a “special alchemy” that fuels creativity. “We have strong characters, and between us the constant is the dense dialogue, fed by both,” says Di Pinto. “Each of us has our own private passions. I for astrology, she for tarot cards and everything contributes to the creative practice of both.” Presenting in a multi-brand showroom for furniture and lighting brand Mohd, they created an immersive summer garden, titled Mohd in Bloom, filling the near 500m2 space with verdant foliage, natural light and multimedia experiences. “Our inspirations are not from the project, they have to do with ancestral archetypes, in this we are similar,” says Mami.
