Walls come to life under the skilful hands of Orsola Clerici and Chiara Troglio, the two creatives behind wall décor brand Pictalab. The dreamy atmospheres, made unique with paintings that recall watercolour painting techniques, were presented at Milan with a wallpaper project that faithfully traces the decorative history of the winter garden of Casa degli Atellani in Milan. “We met studying restoration at the Academy of Fine Arts. We love to paint together and our style in decoration has developed work after work, growing together,” says Clerici. “Between the two of us, I am the dreamer and the one who often gets lost in the process of creation. Chiara brings me back down to earth and makes everything concrete.”
