STOP BY THESE PORTS

Next time you find yourself perusing the shelves at a Glengarry’s store, stop by the fortified section. Hopefully you’ll come across some bottles of Beat Rosé and Beat White. These new additions to the Sandeman line-up are ports, the white showing flavours of white-fleshed tree and tropical fruits, and the rosé with light red berry flavours, both slightly drier than you might expect. With lower alcohol than traditional ports, they make great drinks over ice or as a new ingredient for cocktails. Established in 1790, Sandeman is a leader in the fortified wine category, with these two additions featuring the fine artwork and bottle design from Portuguese artist Pedro Lourenço. glengarrywines.co.nz
