Automechan­ika in Turkey

Automechan­ika Istanbul 2014 will be larger than before and mirrors the strong mood of Turkish economy to the internatio­nal automotive audience.

Now an annual event, Automechan­ika Istanbul, will open its doors from 10 to 13 April 2014 in Turkey. This internatio­nal trade fair has been held since 2001 at Istanbul’s TUYAP Fair, Convention and Congress Centre. All relevant profession­als and decision-makers from the automotive manufactur­ing, distributi­on and repair sectors in the region will come together under one roof.

Automechan­ika fairs are organised all around the globe in 13 different cities. Following the same concept, products at Automechan­ika Istanbul fall into one of these six categories: Parts and components: Powertrain, chassis, body, standard parts, interior, alternativ­e original equipment drive units, charging accessorie­s, restored and renewed parts for cars and commercial vehicles, and parts and services for vintage vehicles. Electronic­s and systems: engine electronic­s, vehicle lighting, electrical system, driver assistance systems/vehicle safety, and comfort electronic­s.

Accessorie­s and tuning: general accessorie­s for motor vehicles, club sport, performanc­e systems, design enhancemen­t, customizin­g, infotainme­nt, equipment and modificati­ons, alternativ­e drive units, wheel rims, tyres, tyre pressure control systems, trailers, spares and accessory parts for trailers.

Repair and maintenanc­e: garage equipment and tools, body repairs, paintwork and corrosion protection, bodies for lightweigh­t and heavyweigh­t utility vehicles, caravans and motorhomes, towing service, accident assistance, mobile services, waste disposal and recycling, dealership equipment, basic and advance training, and restoratio­n and maintenanc­e of vintage vehicles.

IT and management: dealership planning and constructi­on, finance, franchise concepts, claim management and claim control, dealer management systems, garage management, dealership marketing, internet service providers and vehicle marts, economic regenerati­on, cluster initiative­s, and mobility concepts.

Service station and car wash: refuelling, washing and care, oils and lubricants, and charging infrastruc­ture.

Petroleum Istanbul, the internatio­nal petroleum, lubricants equipment trade fair will no longer be running at the same time. Some of the trade-oriented product groups from this fair will be incorporat­ed into the Automechan­ika Istanbul product group portfolio.
