Inside the catalogue, ACS outlines its 400, 500 and 600 series Kit options with many vehicles now using dual-mass technology and reverting to internal hydraulic actuation of the clutch.
The ACS Catalogue now options a 400 series clutch kit which has the internal hydraulic concentric slave cylinder, the 500 series has the clutch kit and replacement flywheel and the 600 series which has the clutch kit, replacement flywheel and the internal hydraulic concentric slave cylinder.
ACS says the catalogue also lists the associated parts including spigot bearings, clutch alignment tools, clutch master and slave cylinders and included are the removal and replacement times for each vehicle.
Whilst dual-mass flywheel technology is certainly nothing new, ACS offers replacement dualmass flywheels as well as single mass flywheel (SMF) conversions kits. These have been developed for specialist and performance applications where it may not always be appropriate to retain a DMF.
ACS also stocks tools for correct assessment and safe fitment of DMF and self-adjusting clutches (SACs). The OEM developed test tools are available for sale to dealers, Heavy vehicle specialists, and driveline workshops.
