New analysers from Chase

-

Chase Distribution has recently introduced some new products in its extensive range of automotive test equipment.

One new product is the new battery electrical system analyser, called the BESA11.

The BESA is simple to use and any 12-volt battery can be tested in five minutes. The BESA11 tests the following functions and connects to a PC or laptop to print out the test results for your customer:

1. Battery test 2. Grounding test 3. Starter test 4. Alternator test

When hooked up to the battery, instructions are displayed on the screen that will lead the technician through to perform the correct steps. In case you need assistance, the “HELP” key will display information about each function when selected.

The BESA11 detects and removes any surface charge before proceeding to perform tests. The test results are consistent and accurate and take less than 3 seconds to obtain values and the result summary.

No internal batteries are required because it powers up when connected to the battery; and won’t discharge or drain the battery.

Diesel particulate filters are fitted to a wide range of vehicles that are showing fault codes that technicians are not able to recognise or clear.

A new specialised hand-held diesel particulate filter diagnostics tool, the DPF Reset Tool allows garages to:

Regenerate diesel particulate filters

All without needing assistance from a main dealer!

Simple to operate, the Reset Tool uses a push-button operation and supports vehicles from model year 2000 onwards. Software updates can be downloaded from the Chase Distribution website.

As well as a wide range of exhaust and performance exhaust equipment, Chase can provide specialist equipment for your workshop including emission purification technology such as catalytic converters, diesel purifiers, oxygen sensors (a comprehensive O2 sensor range), and diesel particulate filter cleaner fluid (DPF cleaning fluid).

Chase Distribution has four strategically located warehouses around New Zealand where it’s knowledgeable, friendly sales teams are ready to answer your calls and provide recommendations for your specific needs.
