Mount Shop website update

-

The Mount Shop people have been busy working on their website for the past few months, adding some great features, and making the parts ordering process much easier.

The website offers two levels of access after a quick, one-off registration process. There is non-account holder access which allows workshops which do not hold a Mount Shop account access to the online catalogue, where they can search and view part applications and view new products.

To get all the benefits of the new Mount Shop website, shop owners/ office managers who are non-account holders are encouraged to fill out an online account application form and open an account.

Account holder website access allows staff to view trade and retail pricing, local and national stock quantities, search certain products by size, and order online.

Businesses are able to register multiple users against their account which allows all staff members to have individual access to the site.

Account holder access also provides businesses with an admin log-in; this is aimed at the administration team. When logged in as admin, you can view and print all invoices and statements, update your account details such as contacts, user id and password, and approve access for other users.

The Mount Shop website is touchscreen capable, meaning you can access and navigate it easily while using your smart phone or tablet, this is a great feature for mobile technicians needing to order parts while on the go. The Mount Shop website is an on-going project and there are a lot more features to look forward to in the coming months, register today at www.mountshop.co.nz.

Mazda 3/Ford Focus bushes

A common issue Mount Shop has picked up on is the worn front lower arm rear bushes on the BK series Mazda 3 and the second generation Ford Focus.

These vehicles share the same platform and many of the same parts, so it may come as a surprise to you that although these bushes look identical, the thread type is in fact different between the Mazda and Ford variants.

Many suppliers may tell you to replace the bolts or supply you with a bush minus the bolt threads, and tell you to find a nut yourself.

The team at Mount Shop, however, understands doing this means the part is not a direct OE spec replacement. So rest assured knowing when you call Mount Shop for a Mazda 3 or Ford Focus lower arm bush, you will get exactly what you need, with no hidden surprises.

Mount Shop is continuously researching not only new parts, but current stock, and ensuring technicians are supplied with the correct part first time. Get in touch with your local branch by calling the team on 0508 86 66 86.
