New Palmerston North branch

The opening of a new branch of HCB Technologies in Palmerston North will enable New Zealand’s leading independent battery importers and distributors to improve their service to customers in the region.

“We are really excited to be able to bring a branch to Palmerston North,” says HCB general manager Paul Eden.

“It’s fabulous – it fills a hole in our distribution network that we have had for a period of time.”

The new 400 sq m premises are centrally situated at 202 Broadway Avenue, Palmerston North.

“As far as our customers are concerned, they will be able to get a more improved service, as we will be able to communicate more effectively and visit more often, which in turn will help them in training their staff on our products, applications, and new battery technologies,” he says.

The Palmerston North branch, which opens on July 1, will complement HCB’s existing branches in Albany, Mangere Bridge, Hamilton, Wellington, Nelson, Christchurch and Dunedin.

“We will be opening with an extensive range of inventory covering all of our brands, and we’ll have a regular call cycle service for all our customers to provide training and support,” he added.

HCB imports and distributes a wide range of batteries, including Hella Endurant, as well as Ultra, Panasonic, Motobatt, Solution, Fullriver, Optima, Odyssey, Fiamm, Synergy, East Penn Deka/Unigy, U.S Battery and Hawker, as well as Power Train chargers and solar panel maintainers, OzCharge battery chargers, Midtronics and Autometer Battery testers.

“We supply batteries for cars, trucks, boats, agricultural equipment, standby stationary batteries, and solar, and we are developing an extensive range of battery accessories to complement our battery products,” says Paul.

“Our vision is to sell quality products with integrity, backed by excellent people and service.”

The addition of this branch will now provide the Hawke’s Bay, Manawatu and Taranaki regions with a higher level of this vision.
