Navistar Auspac launched

-

Navistar has announced Navistar Auspac Pty Ltd. will be the new name for NC2 Global Australia, which sells International and Cat branded trucks in Australia, New Zealand and Pacific markets.

Navistar Auspac is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Navistar, Inc. and its executives and staff will maintain their existing roles.

“This is an extremely positive and timely change,” said Kevin Dennis, managing director, Navistar Auspac.

“Navistar sees growth opportunities in the Australian, New Zealand and Pacific markets, and we are committed to realising the potential.

“To have a major company like Navistar put its name to this region creates assurance for our current and future customers that they are dealing with a company that is totally dedicated to the truck business.

“It’s certainly refreshing to now be officially operating under one powerful and widely respected brand name.”

Navistar traces its heritage back to America’s industrial infancy in 1831 and Cyrus McCormick.

In 1986, after being known as the International Harvester Company, the company changed its name to Navistar International Corporation.

Today, Navistar is one of the world’s largest commercial manufacturers of trucks, buses and engines for North America and several large export markets.
