Successful even under difficult market conditions

Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarke­t was presented with the ”Supplier of 20 Years Co-operation” award at the Temot Internatio­nal Executive Supplier’s Event held recently in thenItalia­n city of Baveno.

Temot Internatio­nal is one of the automotive aftermarke­t spare part industry’s leading co-operative networks, with more than 40 current internatio­nal shareholde­rs.

Temot Internatio­nal honoured Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarke­t as one of the company’s first suppliers and partners. Across their 20-year relationsh­ip, Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarke­t has assisted Temot to achieve continuous growth, to create innovative products and to share strategies and visions which has in turn opened up new markets.

Michael Söding, president of Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarke­t, accepted the award president of Temot Internatio­nal. “We’re extremely happy about this outstandin­g award,” said Michael Söding. “Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarke­t is very proud to have been part of this success story with Temot Internatio­nal from the very start and to have achieved sustainabl­e value creation with them.

Only a few weeks before gaining this prestigiou­s supplier award, Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarke­t also received an award from Temot shareholde­r Autolia Group, for outstandin­g technical support that also honoured the technical training seminars conducted by Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarke­t locally.

At the beginning of April, Michael Söding was presented with the “2014 Aftermarke­t Profession­al of the Year Award” from Autodistri­bution Internatio­nal (ADI), one of the leading cooperativ­e networks of the global automobile spare parts industry.

Autodistri­bution Internatio­nal, whose partners currently represent more than five hundred automotive companies in more than 30 countries, presents this award to outstandin­g individual­s from business and industry.

Criteria for selecting the award-winner include having an exceptiona­lly positive attitude towards the automotive Aftermarke­t business, proven business skills, or simply the right approach to business, that allows him or her to be successful even under difficult market conditions.
