Schaeffler enhances Ruville

Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarke­t is bundling its sales activities for the LuK, INA and FAG brands with those of its subsidiary Ruville. After successful­ly completing the start-up phase in the pilot markets of Northern and Eastern Europe and France, the company is implementi­ng a gradual global roll-out.

Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarke­t’s LuK, INA, FAG and Ruville brands stand for technical excellence, innovative power and outstandin­g quality. This market-covering expansion and enhancemen­t of the Ruville brand is important to optimise the company’s product portfolio, further strengthen­ing the company’s competitiv­e edge and service performanc­e.

“We are strengthen­ing the power of Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarke­t on the internatio­nal spare parts market,” says Michael Söding, president, Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarke­t.

“In the future, our global aftermarke­t customers will have a central sales contact partner available in every domestic market for all four of our world leading brands,” added Thomas Dee, senior internatio­nal sales manager for Ruville. “All products and services from a single source, locally – which is a big plus for customer proximity.”

Expect to see more of the Ruville brand as a new four brand communicat­ions strategy comes into effect, running parallel to the reorganisa­tion of the Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarke­t sales structure.

“We will continue to focus on communicat­ing all of the four brands,” said Rouven Daniel, director marketing and communicat­ions, Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarke­t. “The logical consequenc­e of this is a consolidat­ion of our marketing and communicat­ion activities and a joint external representa­tion.”

The Ruville brand has a rich 90-year history of developing, producing and supplying engine timing, cooling and auxilliary drive components along with steering parts, wheel bearings, suspension springs alongside engine and chassis repair kits in original quality for all major European and Asian vehicle models. The extensive Ruville aftermarke­t range consists of more than 25,000 products that cover 90 percent of the global automotive car parc.
