Bosch Car Service network

-

The growing number of electronic components in vehicles, and the enormous complexity associated with them, have prompted changes in the automotive aftermarket.

Vehicles today are increasingly like computers on wheels, which is putting growing pressure on independent aftermarket workshops to keep up with these rapid technological developments. Even changing the oil or tyres can no longer be done in many modern cars without connecting a control unit diagnostic tester.

Often independent workshops rarely have first-hand information on what is going on in the industry, and sometimes lack the resources to keep up.

As the New Zealand vehicle parc sees newer vehicles coming in, it is essential for workshops of all sizes to be armed and capable in maintaining and repairing these vehicles.

Bosch Oceania workshop concepts manager Mark Jones says workshops can really benefit from directly partnering with Bosch. The Bosch Car Service concept is designed to help drive your business forward while facing these challenges.

“By directly partnering with Bosch, your workshop will be supported with a comprehensive package that includes marketing and business support along with diagnostic, service and technical support with the application of new automotive technologies and parts,” says Mark.

Bosch is committed to providing ongoing technical training and support as workshops evolve and change. The annual Bosch Service Network Convention is just one example of Bosch’s business support programs currently in place to equip workshops with the right knowledge, skill and equipment for a successful future.

Held in Cairns, Australia earlier this year, the 2014 Bosch Service Network Convention provided independent businesses with relevant industry updates and training through a series of presentations and workshops; including the challenges of changing technologies and impact on workshops.

Says Ash Hames, from Auckland’s Anzac Automotive: “The 2014 Bosch Service Network Convention provided my business with invaluable industry knowledge, support and resources to keep abreast of the developments in today’s changing market.” everything from external signage to business stationery. to a tailored marketing programme to achieve visibility of the Bosch Car Service across a range of media.
