Exedy plans for big Automechan­ika

Exedy will be participat­ing at Automechan­ika, the world’s leading trade fair for the automotive aftermarke­t, held in Frankfurt, Germany, from September 16-18.

Situated in hall 3.0, location E53, Exedy will be showcasing current and new technologi­es relating to the Exedy, Exedy Racing Clutch and Dynax brands.

Since the previous Automechan­ika Frankfurt show in 2012, Exedy product developmen­t department­s worldwide have introduced new clutch kits, meaning that the Exedy MT standard replacemen­t clutch range now covers more than 200 million vehicles across Europ. Exedy Racing Clutch will display performanc­e clutches from both its Single series and Hyper series product range demonstrat­ing different technologi­es designed for a variety of driving conditions, from lightly modified road going vehicles to the most powerful racing cars.

World-leading automatic transmissi­on solutions will also be represente­d on the Exedy booth. Using Exedy’s three core developmen­t technologi­es of friction, damper and fluid, Exedy/Dynax have developed AT products that hold the strongest OEM position worldwide in its field. On display will be paper and steel plates for passenger vehicles alongside large friction discs designed for off-highway vehicles.

Celebratin­g Exedy’s heritage as an Original Equipment Manufactur­er, on display will be the new 2014 Subaru WRX STi. Not only is Exedy the OE supplier to Subaru for this particular vehicle, plus many more, there are also aftermarke­t and uprated performanc­e clutches already available.

Keen motor sport enthusiast­s will also enjoy the lure of Jorge Lorenzo’s #99 Yamaha Factory Racing Moto GP bike, for which Exedy makes the clutch module. The long-standing relationsh­ip between Exedy and Yamaha Factory Racing has resulted in numerous
