ACS extends tool range

-

Australian Clutch Services has recently released a new range of spigot removal kits. The new kits are designed to allow for easy removal of various size spigot bearings, making them especially beneficial for workshops and home mechanics.

It is recommended to replace the spigot bearing when changing the clutch to avoid misalignment of the gearbox, excessive wear on the input shaft, and to alleviate any noise which can be caused by a worn bush or bearing.

“These tools make removing the spigot bearing much easier and quicker, hopefully encouraging more individuals to use the opportunity whilst the gearbox is off the vehicle to change the spigot bearing” explains ACS sales supervisor, Darren Schreuder.

The Australian Clutch Services range of clutch kits often includes a spigot bearing as part of the overall package provided.

Australian Clutch Services offers two different kits in the range. One includes a slide, hammer and four removal attachments to suit bearings with an inside diameter between 10 and 32mm (Part Number: ACT-SBPK-1 (Pictured)). The other kit includes slide hammer and U-puller to suit spigot bearings with inside diameter between 8 and 34mm (Part Number: ACT-SBPK-2).
