Motorhomes Caravans & Destinations

EDITOR’S LETTER

- Claire Smith, editor

Welcome to the June issue of Motorhomes, Caravans & Destinations magazine. I hope your winter travels are going smoothly. Now that the weather has well and truly turned, with snowfall and sub-zero temperatures, it’s time to think about how to keep warm and ensure your RV is winter-proof. You’ll find some handy tips on pages 76-79.

IN THIS ISSUE

This month, we have the second part of our day walks feature from Lonely Planet. These six North Island walks range from easy to a bit more challenging. We also have inspiring travel stories from Cambridge, Coromandel and Waiōuru in the north, and Te Anau and Dunedin in the south.

SOUTH ISLAND MOTORHOME SHOW

Mark your calendars for the next NZMCA Motorhome, Caravan & Leisure Show, coming up on 10-11 July in Christchurch. You can buy tickets online now at nzmotorhomeshow.co.nz. We’ll bring you more details in our next issue.

READER LETTER

This month’s letter comes from Chris Allen, who writes,

“Hi Claire, I am a subscriber to your magazine and was just visiting your website. I enjoy your magazine, in particular the articles on destinations. In the past I’ve cut out articles to help plan visits to various destinations. I see that there are currently 597 destination articles on your website. Is it possible to search all of these by region so I can plan my trips better?”

Thanks for your letter, Chris. You can find articles about a particular area by using the search function on the upper right side of the screen. Just type in whatever region you’d like to read about.

We love hearing from our readers, so if you’d like to share your travels, or suggestions on what you’d like to see in the magazine, please email me at claire@nzmcd.co.nz. If we publish your letter, we’ll send out a thank-you gift.
