Fruit picking

Nadia - - WELL-THY ADVENTURE - ancare

Most cities and towns have a ‘pick your own’ destination a short drive away. Berries usually go down a treat. Seeing food in its natural environment (rather than in plastic containers at a supermarket) can be very powerful for kids. Remember that variety – especially when it comes to veges, fruit and grains – will provide a better range of essential nutrients. Think of it this way: eating a varied diet is like taking a wholefood multivitamin.
