Visit aquarium for half the price

-

Looking for something to do this weekend? Why not visit the National Aquarium of New Zealand, which is offering half price on general admission entry?

General admission tickets this weekend — Saturday and Sunday, August 11 and 12 — will cost adults just $11, children $5.50, seniors $7.75, and a family pass will be $30.

Look out for the diver in the Oceanarium at 10am or 2pm, or check out the hand feeding of the Little Penguins, at the usual times of 9.30am, 1.30pm or 3.30pm. You might even spot this month’s naughty and good penguin!

The Oceanarium showcases many of the species which live in Hawke Bay, including five types of shark and reef fish. Elsewhere in the National Aquarium, you can view other native saltwater and freshwater species, as well as exotic reef and deep-sea fish from around the world. The kiwi and tuatara enclosures provide a special insight into two of New Zealand’s most precious species.

The Fish Bowl Cafe will also be open as usual, providing great coffee and a range of refreshments. The aquarium is open from 9am to 5pm daily, with the last entry at 4.30pm. This half price day offer does not include encounters.

?? ?? Half Price Weekend is a great opportunity to visit the National Aquarium’s popular Little Penguins.
