Global DJ due for HB show

Fatboy Slim, a global DJ and dance music superstar, will play in Napier as part of a six-show New Zealand tour in 2023.

The Praise You artist, real name Norman Cook, played to acclaim in Hawke’s Bay in 2019, and is returning for another round.

With a career spanning more than 40 years, the 59-year-old will perform at Auckland’s first Gardens Music Festival at Victoria Park on Sunday, January 29.

Cook will also play one-off intimate shows in Auckland that are yet to be announced, including a DJ set at the top of the Sky Tower.

He will then travel to play Christchurch’s QEII Park on Friday, January 27, Tremain Field in Napier on Saturday, January 28, Wellington’s Anderson Park on Friday, February 3, Gibbston Valley in Queenstown on Saturday, February 4 and Taupo¯ Ampitheatre on Sunday, February 5.

Tickets go on sale Wednesday, October 19.
