Gepp’s land up for mortgagee sale
A piece of land owned by former Nelson property developer Mike Gepp is up for tender in a mortgagee sale. Mr Gepp developed the Honest Lawyer Country Pub Hotel and started the Monaco Hotel and Resort before being bought out and moving to Fiji. First National agent Mike Murphy said a banking finance company that had security over a number of Mr Gepp’s things was ‘‘trying to release what they can’’. The property for sale is a 4.1ha piece of residentially-zoned, south-facing hillside land off Coster St in Stoke with a GV of $160,000. Tenders close on November 28.
