Mennie hopeful

South Australian cricketer Joe Mennie hopes to be cleared next week to resume exercise after recovering from a skull fracture and brain bleeding. Mennie was struck in the side of the head by a ball while training with his BBL outfit the Sydney Sixers on January 23. The fast bowler will have more scans next week with Redbacks physiotherapist John Porter expecting Mennie to be cleared to resume exercise.
