Third shoulder charge

St George Illawarra winger Mikaele Ravalawa is facing a third NRL suspension for a shoulder charge in the space of just five match appearances. Ravalawa has been handed a grade-one charge for his hit on Elliottt Whitehead during his team’s narrow win over Canberra on Saturday night. While he would normally be able to escape with a one-game ban for the offence, he is looking at a minimum of three matches on the sideline with an early guilty plea due to repeat offending.
