Fancy robbing a bank, heroically recovering precious stolen art, or breaking out of prison (you were wrongfully convicted, of course)? Then Xscape Space has got you sorted, with mind-boggling puzzles and clues being the name of the game.
Xscape Space – Nelson’s Premier Escape Rooms offer something fun, outside the box and challenging.
Escape rooms are a great activity for a family outing, a friends’ catch-up, a teambuilding exercise, that special (or impossible to buy for) birthday, or the ultimate stag or hen night, or even a different date night experience.
They offer seven themed rooms with two sets of raceoff rooms for those with a competitive streak: Get your mind thinking outside the box with puzzles and clues that will boggle it, while racing against the clock with your work team or other families.
Business owners Lindsay and Genie Bradley are blown away by the support Xscape Space has had from the community and from “die hard” escape room fans who have travelled in to play from other regions!
Lindsay and Genie share that “Several groups have done all the rooms and are now waiting the release of new games, which are in the pipeline”.
Xscape Space is a true family affair, opening only four months ago with three generations of Lindsay and Genie’s family who worked to get Xscape Space off the ground, and up and running: parents Keith and Wendy, and children Zoe and Tyler continue to contribute to the game formation.
Genie and Lindsay, the hosts and Game Masters, tell us they “love interacting with their customers before and after their games; we love seeing so many game players enjoying what we have put together”.
The spacious venue can accommodate up to 45 people aged 11 years and older, and there is plenty of free offstreet parking. They offer private bookings for larger groups by arrangement – there is ample room for groups to mingle both before and after the game.
