Horse trainer fined

-

A horse trainer was fined $14,000 after elevated carbon-dioxide levels were found in his horse during a random drug test at a race meeting in Hāwera in February. This is the second time Scott Dickson has been fined by the Racing Integrity Board after excess carbon monoxide was detected in his horses. In his submission to the board, Dickson said he was at a loss to explain what had caused the increased level.
