Whyte cries ‘foul’

-

Dillian Whyte believes he should have received extra time to recover after being ‘‘illegally pushed’’ to the canvas by Tyson Fury in their world heavyweight title fight in London. Fury landed a devastating uppercut to Whyte in the sixth round of their WBC title fight on Sunday and then appeared to shove Whyte, who crashed to the floor of the ring hitting his head hard. Whyte admits he got caught by Fury’s victory punch but felt Fury was ‘‘allowed to get away with a lot of things’’. ‘‘I was buzzed, but obviously I was trying to regather my senses and he proper pushed me and I fell over and hit my head on the canvas which is illegal,’’ Whyte said.
