Kiwis well placed

Alex Maloney and Olivia Hobbs feel like they’re finding their feet as a combination and it’s showing at the French Olympic Week regatta in Hyeres, with the pair notching three more good results to put them in the hunt. Maloney and Hobbs were first, fourth and third in their three races yesterday to move into seventh in the 49erFX, only four points off third. The top half of the fleet move into two days of gold fleet racing before the top 10 medal race. Also moving through in the 49erFX are Jo Aleh and Molly Meech, who were lying 15th in their first international event together.
