Prominent agent dies
Mino Raiola, the agent to some of Europe’s greatest footballers, has died in Italy, aged 54. Manchester United’s French World Cup winner Paul Pogba, Borussia Dortmund’s Norwegian striker Erling Haaland and Swedish superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic were among the big names on Raiola’s books. The agent’s family confirmed his death yesterday in a social media post. Raiola had been suffering from a serious illness since January, according to European news reports.
