189 new cases, six in hospital

Yesterday saw 189 new Covid-19 cases in NelsonMarlborough.

Six people are in hospital in the top of the south, down on the 11 hospitalisations in the area on Friday.

The 189 new cases of Covid-19 in NelsonMarlborough are down from the 254 cases recorded by the ministry for the area on Friday.

On Saturday, 233 community cases were reported in Nelson Marlborough, alongside seven hospitalisations.

The Ministry of Health reported 5647 community cases of the virus nationally on Saturday and 5720 new cases yesterday, with 350 hospitalisations and three deaths yesterday.
