Fears for missing man

Police and family have concerns for 71-year-old Richard Ford, whowas last seen 17 days ago. Ford was reported missing from his Tāhunanui home after he was last seen on the morning of April 24, police said. Ford featured in the news this year after Nelson man Nick Smith made it his mission to house him after finding him sheltering in the rain. The community rallied around Ford, donating money, clothes and an electric bike. Smith joined the police in asking people to be on the lookout for Ford.
