Grizzlies bow out

Steven Adams’ Memphis Grizzlies were knocked out of the NBA playoffs when beaten 110-96 by the Golden State Warriors in game six in San Francisco on Saturday. Klay Thompson knocked down eight three-pointers on the way to 30 points, Stephen Curry scored 29 and Warriors advanced to the Western Conference finals, winning the series 4-2. Adams scored four points and grabbed 10 rebounds in 28 minutes. The Warriors will face the Phoenix-Dallas winner in the conference finals, with game seven of that series today in Phoenix.
