More changes to Tip Top ice cream lineup
Ice cream maker Tip Top is making more changes to its summer line-up but says there is always hope discontinued favourites could make a comeback. Last week the company confirmed speculation its Goody Goody Gum Drops and Cookies and Cream ice cream would no longer be sold in two-litre tubs. Tip Top said higher costs for ingredients, including fresh milk and cream, were behind the decision to discontinue the flavours. Yesterday head of Tip Top Ben Schurr said it was possible both would return in take-home packs at some stage. Favourite Gold Rush Riot is now available in 1.2-litre tubs. It is one of the most-requested scoop shop flavours.
