Search for kayaker

A search continued yesterday for a kayaker who did not return after a fishing trip in the Firth of Thames on Saturday. His kayak and fishing gear were found east of Orere Point early yesterday morning. The kayaker left from Kaiaua about 3pm on Saturday and planned to fish at the mussel farms there.
