De­scribed by Na­tional Geo­graphic mag­a­zine as “the clos­est liv­ing rel­a­tives of the hu­mans who first left Africa”, the Hadz­abe peo­ple of Tan­za­nia are thought to have oc­cu­pied the land they now live on since the be­gin­ning of the Stone Age. Auck­land pho­tog­ra­pher Guy Need­ham set off to Africa to spend time with, and doc­u­ment, this fas­ci­nat­ing in­dige­nous so­ci­ety.
