Featured course

For more than 100 years golfers have been enjoying the tricks and charms of St Andrews, the riverside course that is home to the Hamilton Golf Club. Situated right in the city, just five minutes from the CBD, the undulating links-style course offers a challenge to golfers of all levels. St Andrews has more than 50 bunkers to catch the errant ball and none is bigger than the cavernous trap guarding the par-three 18th green. Another signature hole on this easy-walking course is the par-five fourth – an eagle chance for the big hitter and a very reachable birdie opportunity for the average. But it's all risk and reward from tee to green with the tranquil Waikato River flowing down the right side.
