01: WINDING UP AND LETTING GO

New Zealand Golf Magazine - - PGA OF NZ -

A simple image of how the pivot works to help build up torque during the backswing and then release with increased speed during the forward swing. Is to imagine that the body winds up similar to this racing spool. With winding up the rubber band in the spool, from the top through to the bottom. Whilst holding onto the base to create both resistance and stability. By doing this we are then able to create some real stretch in the rubber band with the automatic response being when we letting it go is for the dowling to then unwind at great speed as suggested earlier.
