Award for writer

Listener science writer Rebecca Priestley (pictured with PM Bill English) is the 2016 winner of the $100,000 Prime Minister’s Science Communication Prize. Priestley, a senior science communication and history of science lecturer at Victoria University, is the author and co-author of eight science books. More than 200 of her science columns and stories have appeared in the Listener.
