HAZARDS OF VAPING

-

Portland State University scientists have found that significant levels of benzene can form in e-cigarette vapours when the devices are operated at high power. Benzene, a component of petrol, has been linked to a number of diseases, including leukemia and bone-marrow failure. It is found in urban air from industrial emissions and unburnt petrol in exhaust and fuel-tank leakages, and has been labelled the largest single cancer-risk ambient-air-toxin in the US.
