Election Year Barometer

The Election Year Barometer is the first of four components of our election-year research. This online survey, carried out from May 19 to 10am on May 24 (closing before the 2017 Budget), canvassed 1816 New Zealanders aged 18 and over who were planning to vote in the general election. The results are weighted by age, gender and location, and the margin of error at the 96% confidence level is ±2.3%. See noted.co.nz.
