After dazzling her way onto our TV screens earlier this year as a Dancing with the Stars NZ co-host, the radio DJ is now bringing her dulcet tones to a local version of Gogglebox.

If you were one of the TV viewers on Gogglebox, what couch-based habits would we learn about you? Every night at 8pm, when my son goes to bed, I make myself into a human burrito with a blanket and eat an ice cream while flicking through soaps and reality shows.

You mention ice cream – might that be a favourite snack? I love it. My parents broke us in as children by giving us ice cream if we finished our dinner and it’s a habit I haven’t shaken.

Do you eat other snacks? I love popcorn, chocolate and snack balls.

Is healthy eating a priority for you? I used to eat terribly, but as I’ve got older, I try harder to eat better. I don’t have as many treats.

What do you eat for breakfast? When I can, hardboiled eggs on multigrain toast – but today I missed out because I was looking after my son, who is teething.

What about lunch? I always have sushi. I love it even more since I couldn’t have it for nine months.

What’s your favourite evening meal? [Husband and fellow DJ] Bryce’s home-made chicken or beef burger with home-made kumara chips.

Who normally cooks dinner, given you have a drivetime radio show? Even when we both worked on breakfast radio, Bryce cooked. He loves it and he’s good at it. I can cook but I

don’t enjoy it.

What dish are you most likely to serve when entertaining? The only thing I make is macaroni and cheese. I’m famous for my secret ingredients. Not veges, though – veges in mac and cheese are offensive.

What’s your idea of food hell? Brussels sprouts. I don’t care if people are trying to make them cool – to me they will always taste like BO mixed with cabbage.

Gogglebox NZ premieres on Wednesday, September 19, on Three, 8.30pm.
