FIRST TIGERCAT 635G FOR DOUGLAS

Pete and Brad, from Douglas Logging, have taken delivery of the first Tigercat 635G skidder to hit our shores and have quickly put it to work in their high production ground base crew working down on the Pouto peninsula, south of Dargaville. The new G-series skidder runs the Tigercat tier 2 engine boasting 285hp, an Efficient High Speed (EHS) transmission for greater travel speed and considerably larger implement pump for faster and smoother arch/ grapple operation. Seasoned campaigner, Muzza, who is pictured with his new machine, has driven all of the skidders in the Douglas fleet and the performance of the new addition has blown him away; unbelievable, he reckons!
