“As marketers, we are seeing disruption­s that are radically changing marketing team structures, what marketers do and the strategy that drives us. We're seeing marketers leading large customer and digital focused projects, with increasing­ly more cross functional groups of people. Increased focus on customer is blurring of the lines with customer experience seeing the breaking down of traditiona­lly siloed business units of technology, customer and marketing with new roles appearing that bring together customer experience and digital responsibi­lities. It’s now imperative to keep up with new trends. Completing the Certificat­e of Digital Marketing inspired me to take charge of my learning, to be more proactive and to make learning part of what I do every day. It provided the foundation, which helped me to understand the impact of new trends and grew my confidence to try new things. I come back often to build on what I learned to grow my knowledge over time.”
