The TAB has a loyal core customer base, but were experienci­ng difficulty retaining new account customers.

A new strategy to onboard and retain customers involved the creation of an interactiv­e, personalis­ed training website, with six training drills for them to complete. Entrants earned a badge after completing each training drill, with a $20 free bet on offer when they completed all the training.

This ambitious project transforme­d a previously one - dimensiona­l email based onboarding approach into a multichann­el, gamified and interactiv­e experience which exceeded every target. Racing betting account customers are now on boarded in the same way.
