EROAD adds mar­ket­ing ex­pe­ri­ence

ELEC­TRONIC COM­PLI­ANCE SER­VICE SUP­PLIER EROAD is build­ing its mar­ket­ing ca­pa­bil­i­ties with the cre­ation of a new chief mar­ket­ing o cer role – and the ap­point­ment of much-ex­pe­ri­enced Kiwi Genevieve Tearle to ll it.

e Univer­sity of Waikato-ed­u­cated Tearle has worked in ma­jor mar­ket­ing roles glob­ally – with Philips in Europe, In­dia and Asia, work­ing in con­sumer durables, con­sumer elec­tron­ics, light­ing and fast mov­ing con­sumer goods.

Most re­cently she was chief mar­ket­ing o cer for Fisher & Paykel Ap­pli­ances.

EROAD CEO Steven New­man says that “im­prov­ing mar­ket­ing com­pe­ten­cies has be­come in­creas­ingly im­por­tant….as we con­tinue to ex­pand be­yond our strong base in NZ, across the USA and into Aus­tralia.

“Genevieve brings a wealth of international ex­pe­ri­ence gained in global mar­kets, and we look for­ward to her bring­ing this ex­per­tise to benet EROAD.

e new role,he adds,“will en­able us to build global mar­ket­ing ca­pa­bil­i­ties. In par­tic­u­lar, the busi­ness is fo­cused on devel­op­ing ca­pa­bil­i­ties in mar­ket­ing strat­egy, de­mand gen­er­a­tion and prod­uct mar­ket­ing man­age­ment.”
