If there’s one thing to remember when choosing your wedding-day hairstyle, it’s this: to thine own self be true. This year’s approach isn’t about ironing curls into submission or crimping straight strands – the focus is on enhancing what you’ve got. For the runway, Joico hair director Leisa Welch (above, far right) coaxed models’ locks into two beguiling styles – one an updo that owes much to the artfully undone glamour of Brigitte Bardot, and the counterpoint: carefree curls with a strong side part that entice with their natural movement, softly brushing shoulders and décolletage.
