One of the Bay of Plenty’s premium wedding venues, Mills Reef Winery sits on 20 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds featuring expansive grassed areas and liberal plantings of ornamental trees and hedges. A picture-perfect setting for a ceremony of any style, it offers two distinct outside ceremony lawns and an inside chapel in an underground aged-wine cellar.

The underground Barrel Room is a dynamic, striking new reception room; a unique and unexpected experience that will excite your guests with its wowfactor. The traditional reception room, Mills Reef’s main restaurant, offers wonderful indoor/outdoor flow from the gardens and patio, and enjoys stunning views out onto the gardens and the sunset over the Kaimai Ranges.

The team at Mills Reef pride themselves on the care and attention they give to couples and their families. The on-site wedding coordinator provides a stress-free path to planning your special day. Couples are also encouraged to meet with the head chef to assist in tailoring your catering to your personal taste and style.
