ORDER OF SERVICE
While completely optional, providing ceremony programmes for your guests is a great way to keep them in the loop about the proceedings of the day as well as give some insight into your ceremony. If you choose not to go for individually printed booklets, a welcome sign with important details is a budget-friendly alternative. Your order of service could include any of the following details: The couple’s names and the date. Your celebrant’s opening greeting. The title and artist or composer of your processional and recessional music. A copy of the readings at your ceremony. The lyrics or words of special hymns, songs or prayers. A list of the bridal party. A brief explanation of any religious or spiritual inclusions in the ceremony and their significance or meaning. For example, the lighting of the Unity Candle, the breaking of the glass, or the planting of a special tree.
