VICTORIA & ABDUL

RATING PG

The Queen of England and an Indian servant – two individuals who had the most unlikely friendship. This fascinating flick follows the true story of Queen

Victoria living out her final years unhappily until one day an Indian servant named

Abdul Karim enters her life. The two form a close bond, despite the disapproval of many members of the royal household, and Victoria finds a new zest for life. The costumes and set are exquisite, and the story, which remained unknown until Abdul’s diaries were discovered in 2010, will fill you with laughter and bring you to tears at the same time.
