Ris for re-create. Making a meal from scratch every night can be exhausting. So why not cook larger amounts of simple recipes and turn the leftovers into something new – with minimal effort? A bolognaise sauce, for example, is perfect with pasta, but you can also add beans to make nachos the next night, or toss with frozen veges and top with leftover mashed spud to bake into a cottage pie. Cold sausages are great in wraps with salad, while excess cooked rice is perfect for fried rice, or combined with a tin of tuna, chopped tomatoes, red onion, fresh herbs and a lemon dressing for a hearty salad. Easy!
