OUR NEIGHBOURS ACROSS THE DITCH PUT ON A GREAT SHOW

-

Let the Games begin – or if you’re Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, perhaps you rather they didn’t!

Camilla (70), along with Prince Charles (69), were on hand to open the Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast last week, but it seemed the duchess would have rather been anywhere else than cheering on the thousands of athletes who had assembled from all over the world.

One was definitely not amused during the dance numbers, with the royal spotted flicking through the Games programme instead of watching the action. But perhaps her less-than-impressed attitude could be put down to jet lag – as well as Camilla’s welldocumented fear of flying.

Regardless, the New Zealand team, looking wonderful in black and white, and led in by swimming sensation Sophie Pascoe (25), looked to be having a great time.

Good luck to them – bring home those medals!
