OSCAR WINNERS THEMSELVES, REESE AND NICOLE ARE IN AWE OF MERYL

Get ready for more wine-fuelled gossip and intrigue! The first series of Big Little Lies won a raft of awards and the second one is shaping up to be even better, if the show’s producers and stars Nicole Kidman (50) and Reese Witherspoon (42) have anything to do with it.

The series sees the return of Laura Dern (51) and Shailene Woodley (26), plus the addition of Meryl Streep (68), who was seen on the set in Sausalito, California, last week.

The Hollywood great will play Mary Louise Wright, the mother-in-law of Nicole’s character Celeste, a role that author Liane Moriarty (51) wrote with Meryl in mind.

And Nicole says of working with Meryl, “It’s so good. She’s just amazing, and to watch her do her craft, it really is artistic craft when you watch her.”

Is Reese telling a whopper? Whatever it is certainly put a spring in her step! Yes, it’s true – Big Little Lies has had a new “leash” on life!

The multiple Oscar winner has joined the “mums of Monterey”.She’s all smiles here, but will Meryl’s character play nice?
